The Architectural Heritage Center in Portland, Oregon, is dedicated to preserving Portland's historic built environment.
From October 2023 through February 2024 they are hosting a small show of Betty's paintings, honoring her contribution to historic preservation of Portland's architectural legacy. Visit AHC to learn more: ​https://visitahc.org/

Most of the paintings in this show have been published in "Through Her Eyes," a book about Betty's life and work, available on Amazon.  Prints of Betty's paintings are available on the Shop page and by special order. 

Just published, Through Her Eyes is a book about Portland painter Betty Chilstrom, who chronicled Portland's historic homes, architecture, and cityscapes from 1955 to 1995. Compiled by her daughter, Robin, this is an image-rich story of her life, her art, and how she came to create a stunning, painterly archive of Portland neighborhoods before urban renewal swept through the city.   It is now available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble,  and through other booksellers.
